邁爾斯引述美國參與有關朝鮮核武問題的六方會談代表希爾，他指出：「中國已經成為任何美國外交的第一站。」

在朝鮮問題的談判達成協議後，布殊政府也許寄望中國能在和平解決伊朗核武問題上扮演要角。分析指出，雖然伊朗的問題和朝鮮大不相同，卻也有些相似之處。美國政治風險顧問公司EurasiaGroup的專家庫普指出，當中國本身的利益和美國共通時，它可以有建設性的作為。

在華盛頓智庫「新美國基金會」的學者克雷門斯指出，有些美國人對於中國不肯對伊朗施壓而感到挫折，事實上，中國已在伊朗問題上就緩和波灣緊張情勢方面扮演要角，包括幫助四名被伊朗政府拘禁的伊朗裔美國人獲釋。

中年男人在生理上很明顯地感到衰退，即使是應付生活基本所需都開始力不從心。由於這種衰退來得太快，一般男性還停留在老化仍很遙遠的錯覺中，卻發覺原來衰退已經在門口叩門了。或許是這種反差太大，激化了男性開始恐懼「人生所剩無幾」，他以往都為家人付出，現在他就要死了(想像中的)，他的人生到底擁有什麼是屬於自己的呢？這種合理的推論，卻體現在一個個不合理的行動中。Dr. Jim Conway在書中提到中年男性可能突然變,賣掉家產、騎單車做長途旅行，或是直接投入另一段戀情中，而無論是行為改變或婚外情，中年男性不是青少年，青少年叛逆所造成的殺傷力，遠不及中年男性來得大。

男人在職場上感到隨時會被取代，在家中與妻子的關係如同合伙人，這些狀態都會讓男性在中年誤以為新戀情能讓他重新得力，可惜最後仍是跳入另一個死胡同，家庭不僅破碎，外遇的戀情最後也跟婚姻一般沉悶。那麼，中年危機仍有轉機嗎？《男性中年危機(Men in Mid-Life Crisis)》一書中確實提到了應對辦法，不過在我看來，這些方法都不簡單，而且，不是死到臨頭再去惡補便有效果的。這些方法都需要時間醞釀沉澱，比如書中提到夫妻要重燃愛火，要重新體驗深度相愛與相扶持的意義。然而若是這層工夫兩夫婦從未做過，感情到中年已經崩潰瓦解，突然重燃愛火是不可能的，早已沒火了又如何燃起？書中也提到饒恕，但我想饒恕是關乎領悟與修養的問題，很難一夜之間做得到。

中年危機並非沒有出路，對其淡然處之，不要小題大做固然是個方法，更重要的是趁早做準備，調整內心感受與建立更好的夫婦關係，讓危機變轉機的可能性才比較大。(下)

在英語裡，life一詞，涵蓋了漢語中的「生命」和「生活」。洋鬼子把二者合而為一，他們認為，生命不可截然以善或惡來定義，生命是存在著善與惡的處所。生命之奧秘，不是非解透不可的，生活是你活著時的現實。把「生命」和「生活」分開，不知是不是中國人的精明處？這麼一分，一旦觸及「生命」一詞，便連帶想到靈魂、壽元、涅槃、禪，不能不坐直腰板，嚴陣以待；至於「生活」，那是柴米油鹽醬醋茶，是工資和分期付款，是早餐的油條，午餐的麥當奴，換季衣服和時尚雜誌。逐頁撕掉的日曆，是「生活」的葉子，一頁頁從生命樹飄下，帶著每一天的煩惱、期冀、歎息和笑。日曆上每每以筆寫下備忘：上午10時看牙醫，明早8點接機，報稅截期，今天付罰單……生命是生活的綜合、簡化和昇華，生活是生命的具體化，庸俗化，世俗化。

「生命」意味著「價值」，生活則落實於「價格」。生命務虛，生活務實。生命要玫瑰的香，生活卻先碰到玫瑰的刺。生命需要超越，動不動要飛揚九天之外，生活卻匍匐在地，為房子和兒女的學費灑汗費神；生命需要無限制的自由，生活卻步步設防，「天啊，老婆兒女，是天下的萬惡之源」(普希金語)；生命要永恆，生活在中年之後，總以高血壓和壞膽固醇指數破壞持蟄的雅興；生命是餐廳裡的燭光，生活是長途跋涉者的鞋子。生命和生活，是上帝按自己的形象製造出來的人的連體怪物，不可分離，也無休止地內訌。

生命和生活分家，使我們在「過日子」時，關注明天的股市行情M汽油價的漲幅，忽略生命的方向和流速。麻將台的洗牌聲，使你不復想起巴山夜雨漲秋池。生命和生活合成，教人關注精神層面的品質，追求超越。

有時我願意忘卻生命與生活的同一，好沉醉在「不知老之將至」的瑣屑趣味中；有時我願意清醒地注視在庸常日子中不著痕跡地溜走的生命，要審視它的腳印，看它有沒有排列在通向「無限」的路上。

以前所受的教育，是鼓勵與天鬥，與地鬥，與人鬥，而且還鬥得其樂無窮。其實鬥爭的結果許多是損人損己，兩敗俱傷的。

生活的經歷也告訴我，真理也未必就愈辯愈明，因為生活中許多事情是沒有絕對的真理和謬論之分的。

夫妻之間，婆媳之間，同事之間，鄰里之間，由於所處立場不同，看問題的觀點也就不同。為一件小事辯來辯去，各執己見，爭得面紅耳赤，有時還傷了和氣，實在不值得。

有幾件事我是不願和別人爭論的：第一，如果碰到台灣同胞，堅決避免討論簡體字好，還是繁體字好的話題，因為辯論的結果一定是各執己見，不歡而散；第二，由於自己不信教，不和基督徒討論死後升天堂或是下地獄的問題；第三，如果對方是大齡單身且明確表示過不願進入圍城，就堅決不宣揚世人皆知的婚姻帶來的100條好處；第四，如果別人沒有孩子，不論是出於選擇、誤了生育期，還是身體原因不能生育，也不要眉飛色舞地談論做母親有多麼偉大，沒有孩子的人生是多麼遺憾。

有時候，見人說人話，見鬼說鬼話，並不是見風使舵，逢迎獻媚，而是避免戰火，開創自己開心，別人高興的雙贏局面。

看到一些網站論壇，為宗教問題，政治問題，爭得劍拔弩張，老羞成怒，甚至不惜惡語相向，粗口相擊，就覺得實在沒有必要。有些問題是爭論不出個所以然的。

如果實在有話悶在肚子裡，不說出來憋得難受，那就和你志同道合的人談談，發發牢騷，紓解一下情緒就行了。

After paying the bill, when we waited michael, I asked viv if we can have validation of the parking.

First of all, I told the gas station guy that I will purchase the gas but can I have the air.

he let me pump air in my right front tire FREE.

I pumped more gas afterwards and drove from 6 th street back to the freeway.

After I drove the left turn, I found out :"no left turn on red"

With my right side, so many empty cop cars showing me that :

after a quick checking behind me in her cop car,

she went up and yelled :"you think you control all? how come you turn left. Don't you see the sign!"

Humbly speaking, I honestly stated:"Sorry, honest to God, I really overlooked that. I am in an emergency. "

She returned me the ID and the insurance without giving me the ticket, I guess.

that IS THE WISEDOM.
